Bamboo Double Loop Terry Fabric Quantity = number of yards.
70% bamboo viscose 28% organic cotton 2% polyester. Imported.
Width 62" wide.
Weight 300 gsm | 18 oz per yard.
Bamboo and organic cotton blend fabric. The fabric has terry loops ("bath towel" loops) on both sides, which is why it is called double loop terry. Creamy natural color. Extremely absorbent, heavyweight 300 g/m2. Perfect for cloth diapers, soakers, boosters, mama cloth pads, nursing pads. Or the world's most incredibly pampering plush bathrobe!
Oeko-tex Standard 100. This is the highest Oeko-Tek international standard, meant for infant items that touch the skin, and certifies that the fibers used in this fabric are free of all known harmful substances.
Machine wash and dry. If you line dry Bamboo Double Loop Terry it stays soft.
Shrinkage is minimal, so no need to prewash. Also, the fabric will fluff up with washing, so it is easier to sew unwashed. Use a universal or ball point needle. There is slight stretch, so a walking foot is helpful.

soft and absorbent

So I'm very new to diaper sewing and I tried this for my absorbent layer. It was great! My only problems with it for me was that it was hard to sew through multiple layers with the sewing machine. I also used it for inserts in which it also worked great for but as I sewed/serged the fabric, it sort of lost it's shape since it's sooo soft and flexible. I will definitely use this for wipes and breast pads, but I'm going to try something more stable for my AIO and for my pocket inserts! Still a wonderful fabric <3 I used two 2 layered inserts and achieved good absorbency without too much bulk in my pocket diaper.
Good for Inserts

Depending what you want to use it for. In my case a need to use a fabric that absorbs with just a few layers. With this fabric that's not the case. You need to many layers to make. Good soaker for your diaper. For anything else is excellent.

Love this thin terry fabric. Several layers make a nice, absorbent diaper. No irritation right next to my newborns skin. It is a natural color. Stains easily for my breastfed baby though.

I LOVE this fabric! I have used it as inserts for my daughter for almost 2 years now.Not only is it the most absorbant, but it has held up better than any other material i have used!
Great for wipes and wash clothes

I bought 2 yards of this fabric to make cloth wipes and washcloths. I love the softness of the fabric. It also feels very durable. I've washed them 6 or so times already and they are getting softer and softer after each wash. I serged the edges though to prevent them from fraying. I'm a happy customer. I'll continue to purchase fabrics from DSS.

I love this material, its super soft and has a little stretch to it that makes sewing with it very easy when trying to serge several layers together. It has also maintained its softness after months of heavy duty usage.

This is the softest, nicest fabric, I want to use it for everything! I bought it to use for cloth wipes, but now I want to make all kinds of things from it. Really, really nice.
