Bamboo Double Loop Terry Fabric
Bamboo Double Loop Terry Fabric Quantity = number of yards.
70% bamboo viscose 28% organic cotton 2% polyester. Imported.
Width 62" wide.
Weight 300 gsm | 18 oz per yard.
Bamboo and organic cotton blend fabric. The fabric has terry loops ("bath towel" loops) on both sides, which is why it is called double loop terry. Creamy natural color. Extremely absorbent, heavyweight 300 g/m2. Perfect for cloth diapers, soakers, boosters, mama cloth pads, nursing pads. Or the world's most incredibly pampering plush bathrobe!
Oeko-tex Standard 100. This is the highest Oeko-Tek international standard, meant for infant items that touch the skin, and certifies that the fibers used in this fabric are free of all known harmful substances.
Machine wash and dry. If you line dry Bamboo Double Loop Terry it stays soft.
Shrinkage is minimal, so no need to prewash. Also, the fabric will fluff up with washing, so it is easier to sew unwashed. Use a universal or ball point needle. There is slight stretch, so a walking foot is helpful.

Great for wipes and wash clothes
Posted by Isabella on 31st Aug 2015
I bought 2 yards of this fabric to make cloth wipes and washcloths. I love the softness of the fabric. It also feels very durable. I've washed them 6 or so times already and they are getting softer and softer after each wash. I serged the edges though to prevent them from fraying. I'm a happy customer. I'll continue to purchase fabrics from DSS.

I love this material, its super soft and has a little stretch to it that makes sewing with it very easy when trying to serge several layers together. It has also maintained its softness after months of heavy duty usage.

This is the softest, nicest fabric, I want to use it for everything! I bought it to use for cloth wipes, but now I want to make all kinds of things from it. Really, really nice.

Haven't been able to use it in my soakers yet but it's unbelievably soft and squishy!

This fabric has a little stretch to it that I wasn't prepared for but it still works perfectly. I use it to make hooded baby towels
Softest, most absorbent, and baby's favorite

This was by far the winner when we tried several different linings for our pocket diapers.

I use this fabric for soakers in my diapers and find it to be the most absorbent I have tried.
Awesome insert fabric!

Super soft and very absorbent! Paired with hemp French terry, they are my very favorite insert combo.
Great for Doublers
Posted by Cait on 12th Jan 2014
I got this to make some doublers to put into my pocket diapers underneath the microfiber inserts I already have. I made these 2 layered, and they've done the trick... no more leaks at night or naptime! The fabric is very soft and easy to work with. The wipes I've made have laundered very well too.
