Suedecloth is used for the inside layer of cloth diapers, especially pocket diapers, when a stay-dry feeling is desired. This fabric pulls moisture away from the skin and into the absorbant layers. It can be used for the entire inside layer, or just to top a soaker. Oh, and a major benefit for parents - solid waste (poop) just shakes or sprays right off.
Suedecloth is also used for clothing, where the look of suede is desired, such as for jackets and vests.
Suedecloth is a woven fabric, so it does not stretch. It has a soft and supple hand.
100% polyester. Imported. 58/60" wide.

How do I sew suedecloth?
--use a regular or universal needle, if you have a knits needle on the machine that's fine too; suedecloth is forgiving
--use polyester thread to prevent wicking
--no need to prewash, it will not shrink
Care: Machine wash warm, tumble dry.
