Diaper cuts of print PUL. Choose 20x20 to make one diaper. A 20 inch by full width cut will make about 3 diapers, and 22 inch is good for one-size diapers, toddler diapers, and trainers. Measure your pattern to make sure you are getting the fabric size you need.

Printed polyester knit PUL fabric. 100% polyester interlock coated with 1 mil polyurethane. Made in USA. High quality printing will not fade! CPSIA compliant lead and phalatate-free. This is poly PUL and will not have the wicking problems that cotton PUL fabrics can have.

Use for cloth diapers, including pocket diapers and all-in-ones, AIO, AI2 diapers, and diaper covers. Also for crib mattress covers, bibs, wetbags, laundry bags, animal incontinence pads, feminine hygiene items (cloth menstrual pads or "mama cloth"), and adult diapers. Some also use this for food storage items although we cannot state whether this use is safe.

How do I sew PUL?

--use a ball point or knits needle, 70/11, 75/11 or 80/12

--sew with the coated side against the feed dogs

--use polyester thread to prevent wicking

--no need to prewash

Care: We source our PUL from several excellent American companies. All of the manufacturers have care instructions that state: "machine wash warm and dry low. Do not iron, bleach, or dry clean." In our testing, we use hot washing and machine drying and have found no problems at all. All of our PUL can take plenty of use and the repeated hot washing necessary for cloth diapers and other reusable items.
