Bamboo Hemp Organic Cotton Fleece Fabric Quantity = number of yards.
PLEASE NOTE THE SPECIFICATIONS OF OUR CURRENT BATCH ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE PREVIOUS BATCH.
All of the best cloth diaper fabrics in one luscious blend:
40% Hemp, 30% Bamboo, 30% Certified Organic Cotton. Imported. GOTS Certified Organic.
Width 58 inches wide
Weight 320gsm | 15 oz per yard
Bamboo Hemp Organic Cotton Fleece is smooth on one side, fuzzy soft on the other, in a light creamy natural color. It is slightly stretchy and extremely absorbent.
Use for diaper inserts, prefolds, soakers, and piddle pads. We recommend sewing inserts smooth side out.
Machine wash and dry, or hang to dry.
Comes as a 29 inch wide "tube" of fabric with both sides connected. Cut open along one side if needed as one flat width. Inserts are typically sewn smooth sides out.
In our testing, initial shrinkage by length is about 12%. Prewash the fabric before cutting out you pattern.
Pro Tip: If you are doing a simple shape, like a soaker or insert, you can alter your pattern to compensate for the shrinkage and sew the fabric unwashed. Just multiply the pattern length by 1.15 and you will have the length you need to cut and sew without prewashing the fabric; when you wash the finished insert it will shrink to the correct final size. Make sure you have the fabric laid out on the straight grain before cutting, so that the finished insert does not twist. (If you are not sure if the fabric is straight, prewash before cutting.)

Very soft and very absorbent. Love it!
Nice absorbent fabric!

This fabric is really thin when you get it and then is fluffs up after the first wash. It is super absorbent! I was able to make about 20 3-layer inserts with 3 yards of this fabric. I had a few scraps leftover for smaller projects. I will probably buy this fabric again.

This is my favorite material to use for inserts for my cloth diapers. It's so soft, trim but holds SO much. So easy to sew as well
Quality, easy to sew, and absorbant

I washed this 4 times in hot water and then dried on hot for 3 cycles and it did shrink a little, but not much. This material is great for soakers/inserts. I paired mine with cotton layers and it was easy to sew and super absorbant! It does take a while to dry, but expected with this typer material.

I have never tried any fabric with hemp before so I was a little nervous, but I absolutely love this fabric. It's a beautiful natural creamy color and very soft even after many washes. I prewashed 7 times and Its still 58" wide so I did not lose any width which is definitely a plus too. I definitely will be ordering more, you cannot beat DSS very reasonable shipping rates and speed either!
Will purchase again

I bought this to create boosters for my daughter that was flooding her diaper with just one or two pees! I mixed two layers of this with cotton fleece and cotton Sherpa (no reason for the Sherpa other than to try) and it held for two hours/4 pees! She usually lasts 20-40 minutes in a diaper!!! Needless to say I’m loving this!
Love this fabric

Love this fabric for our diaper inserts. Only complaint is that it shrinks so much. When you buy a yard it really isn't yard. Just make sure to buy more than you need.

I ordered this fabric and the hemp terry. I did the pre-wash calculation as suggested and sewed up snap in snake style soakers for my wool and pul covers. I just shoved the terry loop into fleece loop and got 10 soakers (with each 4 layers, 2 bamboo fleece on the outside 2 hemp on the inside, and 8 layers in the pee zone) out of a yard. It's trimm and incredibly absorbent!!! Only "minus" the fleece shrunk more then the terry. I almost would say the terry probably didn't shrink at all. I need to stretch the soakers back to original size so the inside layers will match the outside layers. Other than that it keeps getting softer with each wash (was pretty hard before wash) and is one of the most absorbing, if not the most, yet trim solution I have.
