The Many Uses For Wonderfully Versatile PUL Fabric
PUL fabric by Eco-PUL™ is a lightweight polyester interlock (knit) fabric paired with an environmentally-friendly TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), a thin stretchy plastic film. This film forms a waterproof barrier, while still being breathable. The fabric releases heat and water vapor and keeps the wearer comfortable.
It is a soft fabric that feels good against the skin. PUL is typically used in making cloth diapers, diaper covers, training pants and swim diapers. Yet, PUL fabric is wonderfully versatile and is being used in very innovative ways. Let's have a look at some of these.
Our first example is a fleece-lined water-resistant jacket.
Next is a terrific water-resistant coat for dogs!
How about a lunch or snack bag made from a fun and cheerful print?
And diapers made from PUL are not just for babies. Discover how PUL can be used for aging, ailing or disabled for pets, like kangaroos, cats and dogs.
Eco-PUL™ fabric is washable in hot water in commercial or home laundry; it can be autoclaved, and dry cleaned. It resists abrasion, is UV stable (is not affected by sunlight), fire retardant, and anti-microbial.
