Suedecloth 2.0 - White Quantity = number of yards.
100% polyester. Imported.
Width 58/60" wide
Weight 160gsm | 9 oz per yard
Suedecloth 2.0 is our new and improved alova fabric formulation. Same weight and function, with a much softer hand. Cradle baby's delicate skin in softness, while keeping dry with superior wicking.
Suedecloth 2.0 is used for the inside layer of cloth diapers, especially pocket diapers, when a stay-dry feeling is desired. This fabric pulls moisture away from the skin and into the absorbent layers. It can be used for the entire inside layer, or just to top a soaker. It has a major benefit for parents - solid waste (poop) just shakes or sprays right off. Suedecloth 2.0 is also used for mama cloth, clothing and crafts.
The front side of our Suedecloth has a short fuzzy nap, and the back is smooth. Suedecloth 2.0 has a slight stretch across the width, but does not stretch as it is sewn, making it very easy to work with.
Care Machine wash warm, tumble dry.
Sewing Do not prewash, does not shrink; Use regular or universal needle; Sew diapers with polyester thread to prevent wicking.
How do I test the wicking?
To check the wicking action of your Suedecloth 2.0, put something absorbent under the Suedecloth, such as a towel. Pour a little water on the fabric face, and then press lightly on the Suedecloth.
Works great for cloth diapers

Love this material! It works incredibly well for cloth diapers! I tested out the fabric and it feels nearly dry to the touch once the water soaks through. And the material is incredibly soft, my son loves it. I will be buying more in the future!

I was amazed at how soft this is. I kept saying this is so soft, feel this, to my daughter as we were making diapers.

This has been my favorite fabric to use as the lining for pocket diapers. It is easy to sew with and it is nice and soft. I'll be buying this product again for the next round of diapers I make!

this material has held up great to multiple poops and it washes up very easily. I will definitely be using this again as my diaper lining.

I love how soft it is! And it is just the right amount of thickness! After several uses it is still stain free!
Works so well!

Through tons of ebf poops there are no stains whatsoever in the pocket diapers I made! And it really does feel dry after soiled! I have touched it after a long nap with lots of wetness on the insert and it truely feels dry! I love it and I'm sure my baby does too!

I purchased this from the "seconds" page as a cheap back-up to the athletic wicking jersey. This isn't as soft as I was expecting, but I actually prefer it to the jersey. It is slightly bulkier but not noticeably. My favorite aspect of this fabric is that my liners are less likely to travel because of the texture, meaning less chance of leaks. Additionally, I think this fabric feels drier when damp/wet.
substantial & supremely soft suedecloth

PERFECT- compared to 130gsm 6.5oz sample from another company (NF) this 9oz 160gsm suedecloth is worth the xtra buck/yd; 25% more lush, plush, pliable & tad more heft, perfect for my grandbaby's bottom. didn't have supersoft sample to compare, still no doubt in my mind this is top notch material is perfect for my needs; ordered 1 yd.
happy with this vendor and would buy again- thank you!
