THIS IS A SALE ITEM. It might have a slightly irregular shape to the cut, be less than a full yard, have a small flawed area but still be mostly usable, or might have dirt on it from being on the end of the roll.
Microfleece fabric is soft and cozy against the skin, while pulling moisture away to give skin a dry feeling. Our CuddleDry Microfleece, developed for diapers, is a fantastic fleece that wears well.
Sold by the yard. Quantity = number of yards.
What makes our microfleece so great?
- not too thin, not too thick - just right for the inside of cloth diapers
- the back is smooth, so if used for pocket diapers the inserts slide in and out easily
- evenly napped, wears well with lots of washing
- a bit of stretch for a super comfortable diaper
- solid waste removes easily
Our fleece is thinner than fleece sold in big box sewing stores which is too thick for cloth diaper sewing and not meant for wicking. This is the fleece you need for your stay dry layer on soakers, diaper linings, and the inside layer of pocket diapers. Also perferred by women for topping mama pads / menstrual cloth.
Great for apparel too! Our microfleece is just like that used by a major athletic manufacturer for pullovers, hoodies, and vests.
100% polyester. Imported. 58/60" wide.
How do I sew microfleece?
--use a regular or universal needle, a knits or stretch needle is ideal
--use polyester thread to prevent wicking
--no need to prewash, it will not shrink
--a walking foot helps manage the stretch
--if you don't have a walking foot, try one of these tips: glue the seams/edges with dots of washout fabric glue and let dry before sewing; use lots of pins; OR hold seam with lots of little binder clips.
Care: Machine wash warm, tumble dry.
Seconds fabric may not be returned.
