Yellow Fold Over Elastic (FOE) 1 Inch
Yellow Fold Over Elastic - A cheerful bright yellow. Quantity = number of yards.
81.2% nylon 18.8% spandex. Imported.
Width 1" wide.
Matches our Yellow PUL fabric.
Our Fold Over Elastic is soft and easy to use. It is matte (not shiny), latex-free and CPSIA certified lead-free. It is colorfast; will not fade and is good for items that will be washed often.
Uses include: diapers, diaper covers, trainers, training pants, swim diapers, blanket binding, bibs, underwear, headbands, and more.
Use a ball point or knits needle. Sew with a zigzag or 3-step zigzag stitch. Stretch the elastic as you sew to the amount that you want the edge gathered. Ease the elastic around curves that you want to lie flat (such as the wings on a diaper cover).
How much FOE do I need?
For a small diaper cover 1.5 yards, a medium 1.75 yards, a large or one size 2 yards.
Machine wash and dry. Do not wash with hook and loop as it can snag the soft fibers.

Great product! Substantially thicker than most product on the market. Soft & easy to work with.

I used this FOE for swim diapers and it works well, but like some others have said, it does fray easily. I wash this in a delicates bag before I sew with it and it's fairly easy to work with. What I love about this FOE is that it's soft on my baby's legs and still holds waste in.

as compared to babyville, this FOE frays easier, loses shape, snags quickly. Sewing with this is easy and it appears to have a nice stretch once I put it on the diaper. The price was fine, but I will not purchase again
not to bad

the reason i gave this foe a 3 star is because i always order 10 plus yards at a time, so when i needed to re order i ordered another 10 yards and its not as bright and vibrant as the last 10, its a little more mustard or dull in color. it does not affect the function but i am sad the color is not what it was last time i ordered.
>>>DSS Note: it is true, even though our factory works off the same PUL color swatches to match, there are dyelot variations among production runs.
Not the greatest quality

I have made a few diapers with another brand of FOE and they turned out amazing. However, that brand was much more pricey and I am making diapers on a budget. I was really excited when I found this site with really reasonably priced supplies. I have to admit I am very disappointed with the quality, it snags very easy when sewing and just doesn't have the same resistance to the stretch as the other brand I have tried. If you are planning to try it out, don't by 10 yards right away like I did!

I bought this FOE because of the great price point and color selection, thinking it would be interchangeable with my other brand. It is not. The stretch recovery is unimpressive, and after washing my FOE-bound cover 3 times, the elastic is totally shot. It caught on a wash tab that came unattached in the wash (other FOE I have used does NOT attach itself to the velcro in this way!), and after this happened a third time the FOE is totally snagged and fraying, and no longer offers any stretch at all. With a product this flimsy, there should be a warning attached that reads: DO NOT WASH OR USE WITH HOOK AND LOOP OF ANY KIND--not just a recommendation that it not be washed with hook and loop. I don't have the time or resources to hand wash my diapers, or to do two separate loads of diapers each time I wash, so I will not purchase this product again.

I have been using this for diapers. Its just frustrating that it frays and pills a lot, prone to snagging with velcro, thats why I wash it separately, and actually stopped using hook and loop. I like the color and the softness of it, but the cons is really bothering.
>>>DSS Note: In the product description we say the plush FOE should not be washed with hook and loop items. This product is best for snap diapers. For a FOE that is compatible with hook and loop, please see our 3/4 in semi-plush.

This FOE is easy to work with and looks nice on a finished product. The color doesn't fade either. It will snag easily but I rarely have a problem with it if I am careful with the needles around it. When I accidentally cause a snag, I clip off the snag with scissors.

I like the FOE when sewing diaper covers. It is very soft and easy to work with! It snags easily; however, it is still the product for me. I have ordered from DSS twice and I received my orders quickly!!!!!
